LIMITED REPRESENTATION / UNBUNDLED SERVICES

What is limited representation?  With full-scale legal representation, a client provides their attorney with a retainer and the attorney performs a variety of services to that client from start-to-finish in their case.

When an attorney performs an “unbundled service” or "limited representation" for a client, they are performing a specific task or tasks for that person typically on a flat fee basis.  This allows the client to control the cost of the legal services being provided to them and obtain legal services in a situation where they might not otherwise be able to afford an attorney’s help.  Unbundled services that Durbin Law Offices often provides includes, but is not limited to:

            •           Representation at hearings

            •           Paid consultations for legal advice

            •           Strategic case planning and preparation

            •           Motion drafting and review

            •           Attendance at mediation

            •           Contract drafting and review

            •           Settlement negotiation

            •           Legal research and analysis

            •           Discovery assistance
